William J. Lyons III was named the Executive Director of the Concrete Industry Board, an ACI New York City Chapter. His responsibilities will be to execute and support the programs that have been initiated by the current board of directors and to increase membership.

Mr. Lyons is a past President of the Concrete Industry Board (CIB) after serving on the executive board for eight years. Mr. Lyons is also past president of the New Jersey Chapter of ACI.

Mr. Lyons is a Fellow in the American Concrete Institute and is a very active participant of the ACI.  He is a member of technical committees ACI 232 “Fly Ash in Concrete” and ACI 306 “Cold Weather Concrete,” as well as staff committees such as the ACI “Marketing Committee” and the “Convention Committee”. He has also served as a member of ACI 305 “Hot Weather Concrete” and the “Chapter Activities” committees.  

Mr. Lyons was recently the Manager of Engineered Sales for USC Atlantic, a US Concrete Region, serving metropolitan New Jersey, New York and Washington, DC markets. He previously was the Director of Engineering Sales for Separation Technologies, LLC, a Titan America Company, for five years, as well as an Engineering Representative for Grace Construction Products for 12 years after serving as a Technical Representative for three years.
